The dataset contains information about the number of victims of domestic violence by gender for 2008-2017, generated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. In case of 2018, data is for the first three quarters. The dataset is published by the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI), based on the data available on the website of the National Statistics Office of Georgia. As mentioned in the document, since 2011 data generation methodology underwent changes and domestic violence statistics contains the number of perpetrators, but not violence facts.
