The database contains statistics for blocked websites due to the request of the Georgian National Communications Commision for the period from 2017 to September 26, 2022. The database is published by the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI). The database is processed by IDFI, based on the letters received from the Georgian National Communications Commision in response to FOI requests.
"N/A", incorporated in the column "Date of Address by an Interested Party" is only used in cases when the Commission sent adresses by its own initiative, therefore “date of reference to the Commission” does not apply.
Blank spaces incorporated in the column “Date of address by an interested party”, mean that it was unclear from the Commission's letters when an initiating subject applied to the Commission.
In the “Initiator's identification” column, where the name of a subject is not indicated, it means that it was unclear from the Commission’s letters or IDFI did not consider it appropriate to make them public.
In the “webpage (Domain Name)” column only domain names are indicated, without domain type (.com, .net, .ge and etc.)
In the “webpage (Domain Name)” column, IDFI inserted "-", to show that it was not appropriate for the institute to indicate the name of the domain.
